JOB HUNTING

Starting out

As you start to think about choosing a job, you will not know about all the jobs available in particular industries, but a good starting point is to think about what you enjoy, where your interests lie and what you are good at. The more clearly you know what interests you, what you like doing, what your talents are and which skills and strengths you want to use in your working life, the easier it is to recognise the opportunities that best suit you.

What jobs suit me?

Ask yourself what is really important to you and what you are willing to do. Everyone has unique motivations and ambitions and yours may be different from those of people you know. Writing your ideas down or talking them through may bring out more possibilities. Your friends and family may help you identify the key deciding factors for your career planning and may point out strengths that you take for granted.

What do different jobs entail?

Learning what people actually do on a day-to-day basis is a crucial step in your job search. Understanding jobs is the best way to ensure you make the right decision for you. It is also essential for writing strong applications to persuade a company or organisation that you are a good fit for the job.

How do I use my degree?

You may want to apply your subject-related knowledge and skills directly to the world of work.
Ask your university careers service for the results of surveys that provide some insight into what people with your degree have gone on to do.  to view national survey results of what students on your course have pursued. Also, check options with your subject for suggestions about what to do with your degree.

CHILDHOOD

The most special and lovely stage of life,
Which is remembered till we survive
No tension ,no stress,
All day enjoyment wearing a new dress
We are the apple of everybody's eye,
Always being loved also makes us feel shy
No household work to do, no commands to follow,
Playing like a king, all food we swallow.

Our horses are our parents, ever ready to gallop
but all the fun is lot as we gradually develop
Burden of studies, responsibilities increase
Hopping, pouncing and screaming all are put to cease.
Our tasks are always being watched,

with so many restrictions our head gets tossed,
All work we have to do ourselves,
No one comes to help, not even my imaginary friend elf.

Childhood is real fun playing
Remembering those days we become joyful,
Always being dependent is also sorrowful
Still if we want to know which stage is best,
We conclude childhood better than rest.

GOD KNOWS

1)When you are tired and discouraged from fruitless efforts,God knows how hard you have tried.

2)When you have cried for too long and your heart is in pain, God has counted your tears.

3)If you feel that your life is on hold and time has passed you by, God is waiting with you.

4)When you are lonely and your friends are too busy to hear you, God is there to talk to you.

5)When you think you have tried everything and do not know where to turn,God has a solution.

6) When nothing makes sense and you are confused or frustrated, God has the answer.

7)If suddenly your outlook is brighter and you find traces of hope,God has blessed you.

8)When things are going well and you have much to be thankful for, God has blessed you.

9)When you have a purpose to fulfil and a dream to follow, God has opened your eyes and called you by name.

10)Remember that whatever you are or whatever you are facing…It’s only a sheer luck.

Impossible Is Nothing And Nothing Is Impossible

Napolean Bonaparte had once said "The word impossible exists in the dictionary of fools"
Impossible is nothing, nothing is impossible, there is always a way to come out of a problem and if  we have sufficient will,we always have sufficient means. It is just an excuse that we say things are impossible.Nothing is impossible,if you can dream it,you can do it.Had Graham Bell thought that communication through wires was impossible,we would possibly not have availed the facility of a telephone. If Galileo and considered them to be impossible,we would have still been living in an uncomfortable and unknown world.

Every invention, success and discovery is preceded by millions of cabs of impossibilities! But only those who can see the invisible, think the impossible can do the ‘impossible’.

How true they were and it is high time that we should come out of our dream realize that impossible has no place in this ‘not so utopian world!’you know, you should never tell a young person that something cannot be done.Excellence is very, close to perfection and perfection is not impossible. So strive for excellence, therefore,I say with renewed conviction that ”impossible is nothing and nothing is impossible”.

INCREDIBLE INDIA OR UNCREDIBLE INDIA

India is land of Gods,Land of valleys and landscapes.Apart from natural heritage,we also have very rich historical heritage,be it Taj Mahal, which is considered as wonder of wonders,or Bhim Betka in Madhya Pradesh,or Sanchi Stupa,Jaipur Palace,we have huge potential to bring forward our heritage in the form of tourist sites and generate revenue and why should we not ?
But even after various suggestions, force promises, and failed attempts, government of india is unable to preserve the sites of historical importance. An independent study shows that a yellowish layer is being deposited on dome of Taj Mahal, which is due to corrotion of marbles. This is being caused by fumes coming out from nearby industrial areas.Ganga, Yamuna and Godavari rivers, considered as Godess in our culture are being polluted extinsively due to sewage deposits.

I think that Govt of India, apart from investing in poor people, should start seeing tourism as a way of revenue generation and invest extensively in it to conserve places of importance.Pollution of rivers should stop immediately, heritage sites should be protected from encroachment from builders, as has been seen in case of Shivaji Forts in Pune.Govt. should not look for income from agriculture or industries only.Tourism, apart from income generation, provides employment and brings about our heritage infront of the whole world.

Let us be proud of it, but if we work towards improving it, then only we can say Incredible India..!!
